Description: Fun introductory course to Spanish. This course is for those with little or no previous knowledge of Spanish. Communicative context, with videos, audio, texts and conversation.
Target audience:
- Postgraduates in Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Materials Science, Computer Laboratory and Chemistry, Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership and Judge Business School.

Format: Class work and individual study

Aims:
- To reach a level suitable to get by during your holidays in Spain or Spanish America!
- Learn grammar and vocabulary by using them actively
- Gradually focus on aspects of culture and science that are useful to your career
- Complete interactive activities and one written piece per week (if you want!)
Topics covered:
- Greeting, numbers, families, describe where live and work, ordering food
- Days of the week, free time, telling the time,
- Past tense (weekends/holidays),future tense
