Description: This workshop is intended for non-native speakers from the Department of Engineering who would like to improve their spoken English in a variety of contexts, both formal and informal. It is open to PhD and postdoc and MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering.

Target audience:

  • Non-native PhD and Postdoc, MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering
  • Further details regarding Engineering Language Unit's eligibility criteria are available

Aims: The aim of the workshop is to provide opportunities for you to practise oral communication skills. We will focus on areas such as telephoning and everyday conversations in the office.
