Making the Most of LinkedIn
New

Fri 14 Jun 2013

Description

LinkedIn is a popular and valuable social networking platform for presenting your professional identity and making connections with potential colleagues and employers. You may already have a LinkedIn profile, but are you really getting the most out of it? In this workshop we'll discuss what to include in your profile, how to benefit from groups and other features, and other little-known Linked-In tools.

The workshop ties in with Module One of STEMDigital, and participants on this programme will be offered priority booking.

Target audience

PhD students and Postdocs in the Sciences

Note for Postdocs/Research Staff:

  • Any member of research staff who can demonstrate that their primary responsibility is to conduct research and that they are employed for this purpose.
  • It does not matter whether the University or some other body is formally their employer, e.g. a University Partner Institute or a College.
