Excel 2010/2013: Beginners (Self-paced) BeginnersPrerequisites
This self-paced hands-on course gives an introduction to spreadsheets, databases and charting. There is emphasis on short cuts and other efficient ways of working.

The course is aimed at beginners - no previous knowledge or experience is assumed, but it can also be attended by those who wish to practise under supervision.

Self-paced hands-on, working from a workbook
Excel 2010 on MCS Windows
- The course will be taught using Excel 2010 on PCs but will also be suitable for Excel 2007/2013 users. Macintosh users of Excel 2011 should also find it useful.
- Participants work at their own pace using a workbook containing notes and exercises.
- Most participants will complete the material in the two timetabled sessions during which help and advice are available. However, the length of time taken will vary according to previous experience, so the facilities will remain available for informal use for a further week after the formal sessions; alternatively the course files can be copied to CD or memory stick (not supplied) so that the exercises can be completed on other machines or course files can be downloaded here
