Word 2010: Mastering Advanced Features (Level 3)

Description

The course is designed to give a overview of some of the advanced features of Microsoft Word 2010, principally for staff who produce reports or long documents. This is is very similar to Word: Mastering Dissertations and Theses (Level 3) which is aimed more at students so please do not book on both courses.

Target audience
  • All current Cambridge University members (departments and colleges)
  • Further details regarding eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
  • Good competency in Word will be assumed
  • Attendance of Word: Beginners or equivalent knowledge

Taught using

Word 2010 on MCS Windows

Notes
  • The course will be taught using Word 2010 on PCs but will also be suitable for Word 2007/2013 users. Macintosh users of Word 2011 should also find it useful.
  • There is a separate course covering the use of the Mail Merge facility to produce labels and letters. Self-teach courses on Word are also available.
