In the wake of the University's IT review, this is a time of tumultuous change for IT provision in the University. In the last couple of months the UCS and MISD have been co-located with a view to merger by April. IT co-ordination at School level is increasing and a London recruitment firm is looking for a top-level IT executive to oversee computing across the collegiate University.
Ian Lewis, Director of the University Computing Service, will be talking about recent and future events and where things are headed. The seminar will be followed by an open afternoon where refreshments and tours of the Roger Needham Building will be available.
