Literature searching for your 4th year project
New

Wed 28 May 2014

Description

"The Part IIB project is a major feature of the Engineering Tripos. It is intended to be demanding, to test your skills to the uttermost and to give you opportunity to prove that you are of MEng standard."

One of the aims of the fourth year project is to enable you to learn how to search the literature efficiently for relevant information. This practical one-hour session will take you through the process of designing and conducting a literature search and includes tips on managing the information gathered during this phase of your project. We will focus particularly on the electronic resources available to you over the long vacation and on support provided by the Department of Engineering Library.

To get the most out of this session, please bring your own laptop.
