Communication Skills Advanced: "Was it something I said?" Prerequisites
Description
Even the most skilled communicators sometimes struggle to get their message across. This course will equip you with the mindset and knowledge to communicate effectively when it really matters. Learn how to deliver your message with sincerity, clarity and enthusiasm. Staff who wish to improve their one-to-one communication skills in challenging and difficult situations will benefit from this course.

Prerequisites
*Essential pre-course work
- You must complete either the online Communications Essentials course, or the Communication Skills Introduction course before your provisional booking will be confirmed.
- Please note your booking for this training will not be approved until 4 weeks before the course.

- to be able to build rapport with strangers in social/professional situations
- to improve your skills in communicating persuasively
- to be able to give and receive criticism effectively
- to know when and how to use different strategies for handling conflict
