This session will introduce you to where your PhD fits in the context of academic publishing and wider society, considering academic integrity, peer review, open research and having an impact outside of academia. The following topics will be covered:

- Metrics and Open Research
- Impact
- Communicating with different audiences
- Your online academic identity
Please bring a laptop or other web-enabled device with you to the session. A handout for the session is available on Moodle if you would like to bring it with you, but it is not necessary.
