Inclusive Leadership Programme Launch Event
New

Tue 2 Jul 2019

Description

Leaders and managers in academic, research and professional service roles are invited to join Professor Eilís Ferran, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Institutional and International Relations, to find out more about the new Inclusive Leadership Programme. The event will outline the programme’s key aims and content, designed to support the critical role that leaders and managers play in shaping a positive working environment, supporting progression and ensuring equality.

In her recent statement, Professor Ferran said:

"Achieving equality for all is of fundamental importance to the University and its employees. Both the monitoring of equalities data and feedback from our staff, for example in the Vice-Chancellor’s mycambridge consultation and in the recent staff survey, makes it clear that we need to do more to actively promote an inclusive culture, ensure good management practice and support our staff with their career development. I fully endorse the programmes and encourage you to take the opportunity to participate and support others to do so as well. This is an exciting opportunity for us to take a frank look at how inclusive we currently are and, by working together, how we can make progress towards our goal of achieving equality of pay and opportunity at the University."

NB Registration and refreshments will be available from 3pm. For further information about the Inclusive Leadership Programme and to book a place please see Related courses below.
