A webinar providing information on the following apprenticeship:

Senior Leader Degree Level 7 (24months)

The webinar will be presented by Marc Rothera of Anglia Ruskin University.

During this lockdown period, PPD is keen to continue to promote development opportunities for University staff. This information webinar will help you to identify if you wish to progress your development by way of an Apprenticeship. We are looking to explore what interest there is at this current time in this Senior Leader Degree Level 7 apprenticeship to start September 2020.

Please note: This apprenticeship standard is expected to change with the removal of the degree qualification in January 2021, moving towards a PostGrad diploma. Entry to these cohorts will be by application and is open to all University employees who meet the eligibility criteria.

The webinar will be repeated and to assist with accessibility the webinars are being held on two video conferencing platforms, Zoom and MS Teams. To access the webinar on Zoom the session will run on 18th June 2020 - 14:00-15:00pm.

Notes

To be eligible for a place on the Apprenticeship Programme applicants must be:

  • a University employee with a minimum fixed term contract of 15 months (for apprenticeships with a 12 month duration) Apprenticeships can be between 1-4yrs, your contract will have to cover the duration of the apprenticeship you choose.
  • working in a role that enables the learning to be put into practice
  • supported by a manager

UK and EEA citizens are eligible for funding if they are a citizen of the UK or a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) and have been ordinarily resident in the for at least the previous three years on the first day of the apprenticeship.

Non-EEA citizens are eligible for funding if they have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes), and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.

In addition, the individual and manager must commit to 20% off the job training and development.
