Leaders and Managers Network: Introduction to the Investigations Team

Mon 12 Dec 2022

Description

Please join John Walne, Senior Investigator leading the new Investigations team within the HR Division, and Louise Akroyd, Lead HR Business Partner, to hear about their work to support when complaints are made about misconduct or inappropriate behaviour.

The session will cover how the formation of the team will help to streamline the process for all parties, to provide support in a consistent and timely way, and generally improve the experience for those involved. We will also consider how managers’ early action to manage issues before they escalate is always the best approach to ensure good working relationships and a positive work environment for everyone.

John is also keen to hear about your own experience of an investigation, if you have been involved, directly or indirectly, to inform the direction and work of the new and growing team. You can email him directly as well as contribute in the session john.walne@admin.cam.ac.uk.
