Assertiveness in Management
As a manager, handling relationships is one of your key skills. An ability to think, speak and act assertively in these relationships will enhance your reputation and success. If you want to motivate staff, earn their loyalty and enable them to achieve the best possible results, then this course is for you. It will also deal with the challenges of managing your own manager assertively.

- to be able to think assertively about yourself and others
- to recognise the values, rights and responsibilities of an assertive manager
- to be able to use assertive words, tone and body language
- to know how to handle typical management challenges (e.g. delegating unpleasant tasks, resolving conflict, giving feedback, communicating difficult messages) through assertive interaction
- to recognise aggressive and submissive behaviour in others and encourage them to act assertively
- A questionnaire will be sent to participants to complete before the event
