Description

These 30 minute small group sessions are an opportunity for you to obtain support for searching databases and using referencing software. General advice and support will be offered, and any specific queries will be addressed.

Target audience

Part II NST or PBST Psychology students.

Prerequisites

Must be a Psychology NST or PBST Part II student undertaking a dissertation or project. Attendees must bring their own laptop or tablet.

Aims

This course will enable you to get hands-on support in the following areas:

  • Selecting appropriate databases for your literature search
  • Constructing an effective search strategy, and inputting it into selected databases
  • Use of referencing software such as Zotero

Demonstrations and practicals.

One session of 30 minutes.

A number of times in Michaelmas Term.
