Managing your Research Data for Researchers (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) Prerequisites
This online session is aimed to introduce researchers to research data management.
We will go through the 4 key areas of research management: 1. Organising 2. Storage and Backup 3. Sharing 4. Archiving
We will also cover topics such as working with sensitive data and have an introduction to Data Management plans. The session is tailored to those working in STEMM and there will be Q&A at the end for any specific questions.
This session will cover:
- where to store data safely and securely
- how to organise data
- how to share data openly when appropriate
- what support is available at Cambridge
- PhD students in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine
- Researchers in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine
- Other Cambridge students and staff welcome
