Description

Moodle as the Virtual Learning Environment will be supporting teaching and learning at the University.

This training session will introduce participants to Moodle and cover the system basics such as the course structure, enrolment to a course, and roles for course members.

Target audience
  • Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages staff
  • Further details regarding Student Systems' eligibility criteria are available
Topics covered
  • editing the course format,
  • uploading and sharing resources,
  • creating a files structure,
  • creating resources in Moodle,
  • running forums and polls,
  • setting up assignments,
  • enrolling course members.

To be able to:

  • Understand the Moodle environment
  • Manage participants
  • Add and edit the appropriate activities and resourses
