Description
This workshop will look at a week in the life of an Engineering student from the writing perspective. It will address communication skills in writing from different practical angles involving emails, notes and strategies to prepare for and draft a paper or report. It will provide an overview of the most common stylistic, structural and grammatical mistakes made in these writing scenarios and equip you to fix those relevant to your own writing
Target audience
- Non-native PhD and Postdoc, MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering
- Further details regarding Engineering Language Unit's eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
Must be PhD, postdoc or MPhil by Research students from the Department of Engineering.
