Target audience
  • PhD and Post Doc Engineering Students
  • School of Technology if places available after priority to PhD and Post Docs Engineering Students
  • Further details regarding Engineering Language Unit's eligibility criteria are available
Topics covered
  • Cultural awareness within the University environment
  • Aspects of the British lifestyle, British culture and contemporary social issues
Aims
  • To demonstrate the importance of intercultural awareness in a multicultural environment such as the University
  • To focus on the British lifestyle, considering aspects of behaviour, manners, social conventions and traditions
