Dr Shuckburgh will share the extent of her work on climate change and communicating this to the public, and will discuss how gender plays a part in the bigger environmental picture. |

We particularly encourage women and staff identifying as Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) to attend as they are currently under-represented at senior academic levels. Neurodiversity includes the specific learning differences -dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and Autism. In this talk Professor Sara Rankin explores the strengths and weaknesses associated with being neurodiverse and how this plays out in the Universities and businesses for students, researchers, managers, postgraduate students and administrators. She will talk about some of the educational and outreach projects she is currently working on for ND students, at Imperial College London. She will also outline the steps that line managers can take to support their ND staff and give an overview of some of the assistive technologies that can help. Sara Rankin is a Professor in NHLI, FoM working in the field of Regenerative Pharmacology. She is dyslexic and dyspraxic. We are hosting a facilitated conversation to reflect on the outcomes of the discussion at the UUK's webinar "Turning words into action: Eliminating Racism and racial inequality in Higher Education, and on any learning we can take on board at the University of Cambridge. The UUK webinar is taking place on July 14th at 2:30pm - 3:30pm.
