ESRC DTP: Real World Problems - Social Science Solutions Workshop

Description

This workshop will be led by Mark Liddle, the Managing Director of an independent consulting organisation which has worked for many years with a range of government and non-government organisations on research design and evaluations (both within and outside the UK). The workshop will involve a short talk about general principles of evaluation research from Mark Liddle, and then participants will be divided into small interdisciplinary groups to prepare research and evaluation designs - utilising issues drawn from the real world of social policy. In the afternoon, each group will present its design/evaluation proposal and receive feedback from Mark.
