Description

This session provides you with a simple overview of the basics and how VAT applies to the University.

This will run as a Teams Live event, details of how to join will be sent to participants prior to the session

You will also be sent a link to a video which you will need to watch prior to the live session (the video is 1 hour and so you will need to leave yourself enough time). The live session will start with a quiz based on the content of this video.

Target audience

Departmental staff. ROO staff may attend as well, but please note this is a general overview of VAT and the University, not research focussed.

Aims

To have a better understanding of VAT works within the University and what items could or should have VAT charged on them.
