This course enables users to learn the basics of how the General Ledger module works, how to run online account enquiries and how to process journals. It is run as two webinars with some pre-course reading Webinar 1: For everyone Webinar 2: Optional, if you are not going to be using journals it is not compulsory but may be of interest If none of the dates are suitable then there are two on-demand packages which can be completed instead. The Finance Division is relaunching its staff review and development cycle and would like to invite you to a short webinar as a useful refresher about the overall purpose and outcomes of SRD and an opportunity to consider what you can do to help ensure an effective discussion as reviewee and/or reviewer. We have organised these knowledge bite sessions for both reviewer and reviewee and will go through the process and how you can prepare for the appraisal meetings. If you are unable to attend either of these sessions it will be recorded so you can watch as a later date. We also plan on holding several Q&A drop in sessions where you will be able to drop in and ask a questions if you have any. |

Accountants' Update CPD session

Our annual CPD update session is making a return. Our external auditors, PwC will deliver a presentation on general accounting and auditing updates, then Stephen Peacock (Head of Group Financial Reporting) will provide a University specific update. Qualified staff can use this towards their annual CPD. |
