Description
This informal seminar will consider some of the cultural differences experienced by participants, and also address questions arising from various aspects of living and working in both the multi-cultural environment of the University and the wider British community.
Target audience
- Non-native MPhil by Research and PhD students plus Postdocs from the Department of Engineering ONLY*Further details regarding Engineering Language Unit's eligibility criteria are available

Aims
- To demonstrate the importance of intercultural awareness in a multicultural environment such as the University
- To focus on the British lifestyle, considering aspects of behaviour, manners, social conventions and traditions
