Microsoft Windows 8.1 new Self-taught Not bookable

Microsoft Windows 8.1 is designed for users who are keen to learn how to operate the software to perform tasks that include: starting applications, creating folders, copying and moving files, creating and using libraries, performing searches, and personalising Windows.

This hands-on beginner’s course aims to give the learner a sound grounding in the use of Microsoft Word 2013 to create everyday documents required either at work or at home. Particular emphasis is placed on developing accurate and well-designed documents. The course begins by showing the learner how to navigate around Microsoft Word 2013. It then quickly gets the learner to create a new document before moving onto features such as text manipulation and enhancement, creating and using tabs and tables, embellishing documents with clip art and pictures, creating multiple documents through merging and printing documents.

This course aims to enhance existing skills by covering more specific documentation creation aspects such as working with multiple documents, formatting tables, tabs, lists, merging, section breaks, templates and more.

This is a fee-based online course for Oracle: Database Design and SQL. If you are unfamiliar with the Oracle online course environment it is strongly recommended that you attend the Oracle Academy: Database Design & SQL, and Database Programming in PL/SQL Induction to the Online Environment.

In the first half of Oracle’s Database Design and Programming with SQL course you will learn to analyse complex business scenarios and create a data model - a conceptual representation of an organization’s information. In the second section you will implement your database design by creating a physical database using SQL, an industry-standard database programming language.

This is a fee-based online course for Oracle: Database Programming with PL/SQL. This course covers Oracle's PL/SQL, a procedural language extension to SQL. You will learn procedural logic constructs such as variables, constraints, conditional statements and iterative controls.
