Description

The Intermediate Conversation Hours are a great way to practice the spoken English of everyday life. They are suitable for learners comfortable in spoken interaction at level B1 and above. The weekly sessions encourage a relaxed and fun approach to communication designed to both aid interaction and build confidence.

Aims

To enable intermediate level speakers to widen the range of their active spoken vocabulary, improve their grammar in context and work towards a more natural and ‘native’ use of English for social conversation.

Learner-driven group, led by native speaker facilitator

Notes
  • Academic Development and Training for International Students (ADTIS) in-sessional students are encouraged to attend the ADTIS Conversation Hours
  • The Intermediate English Conversation Hour is not suitable for these students
