Virtual - X-Ray Generators and Other Equipment Generating Ionising Radiations

Anyone who is or will be a first-time user or supervisor of x-ray equipment or other equipment generating ionising radiation is expected to attend this course before they begin work. Existing users and supervisors of these items of equipment who are new to the University should also attend.

• First-time users of x-ray equipment or other equipment generating ionising radiation
• Existing users and supervisors of x-ray equipment or other equipment generating ionising radiation who are new to the University

• Control measures and documentation
• The roles of individuals, supervisors and departments
• Relevant legislation

• To provide an understanding of the legal and administrative background to good practice for the use and management of this type of equipment
