The Squiggly Careers - Podcast Group
Finished
You've heard of a book group, but how about one for podcasts? In these sessions we will focus on a different episode from the wonderful Squiggly Careers Amazing If podcasts, which includes over 300 episodes on career based topics ranging from coaching and confidence, to strength and values. Before each session you will be sent a link to a podcast episode to listen to and reflect upon. During the session you will be led through a selection of tasks/exercises recommended in the episode Pod Sheet. You will have the opportunity to work on these individually and then reflect back as a group. Session 10: How to have a high trust team In this episode the podcast hosts talk about how trust in teams makes a big difference to work and wellbeing. They explore practical ways trust shows up and ideas for action to create environments where people feel respected and able to be themselves. They discuss the importance of assessing the practical and emotional aspects of trust, how to make ‘mistake moments’ part of your team’s ways of working, and the role of ‘red table talks’ in addressing tough topics. This session may be of particular interest to those who attended the live session from Sarah Ellis on 25 June (University of Cambridge training - High Trust Teams (from Squiggly Careers) - Tue 25 Jun 2024) and would like to explore some of the material covered in more depth. |

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team have partnered with a specialist external provider, to develop some online training modules for the University of Cambridge. Whilst the training is up to date with the latest legislation, advice and information, we have an opportunity to significantly tailor the package, to help it resonate with staff across our academic and professional services communities. We’d love your help, to understand any aspects you really like, (or don’t!) and where we might make changes to give each of the modules a University of Cambridge ‘look and feel’. The session will be fairly fast-paced, with a high-level review of each module and a closer look at each of the proposed videos. We'll offer the opportunity for participants to provide individual comments and also group feedback, based on breakout room discussions. If you have any questions, please email orgdev@admin.cam.ac.uk. |
