Stress Masterclass New
Over 17 million working days were lost in 2022/23 to poor mental health, more than ever before, with most absences in the UK workplace due to stress-related illness. So, whilst stress is an entirely natural human response that keeps us switched on and safe, it’s clear that unmanageable levels of stress are impacting the modern workplace more than any other aspect of our health and wellbeing.
To help shine a light on this much-discussed but often misunderstood topic, Mike O’Hara, director of training at Start Within, will provide a deep-dive into the nature of stress specific to life in 2024, using six key standards to address the common causes of our overwhelm.
Attendees will be invited to share their observations, questions and individual coping strategies, as well as participate in a little bit of stressbusting creative art therapy (don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it!)
Training Objectives:
- Learn more about stress and the impact it can have on us
- Utilise the six key standards to address common causes of stress
- Explore and define stressbusters that’s right for you
- Share with others and gain useful ideas and insight from them
