New

Mon 23 Nov 2020

Description

The Cambridge Grand Challenges programme offers a range of funded placements for social science doctoral students (not MPhils) to tackle global issues of our time ranging from mobility and city to ageing challenges. Come along and meet the Social Sciences Partnerships Manager, Dr Konstantina Stamati, to find out the opportunities and ask questions. This is a 45 minute webinar and open to all doctoral students across the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Cambridge Grand Challenges (CGC) is a framework for collaboration between industry, government, and academia designed to help deliver the Industrial Strategy. CGC brings together industry, PhD students, postdocs and Cambridge academics, and applies relevant social science research and methods to solve pertinent industrial issues.

This live training session sits within an online programme supporting PPD skills for postgraduates: http://ppd4phd.com/
