Description

This course is designed for Training Administrators of a new provider on the University Training Booking System (UTBS) and it will take them through theory and practicals on how to administer their training programme on the UTBS.

Please note that the course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate. See System requirements below for more information

Objectives

To give you a good understanding of the UTBS system to the point where you can use the manual with confidence, and to get up and running with administering new provider training provision through the University Training Booking System (UTBS).

Aims

Once back at your workplace you should be in a good place to start using the UTBS to create Courses and Events and to manage the admin tasks associated with that.

  • Presentation, demonstrations and practicals
System requirements
  • Installed Microsoft Teams app.
  • It is possible to join using Edge or Chrome but there is less functionality when using a browser.
  • Important: The instructor cannot troubleshoot access to Microsoft Teams on the day of the course. If you are in an institution that is managing their own Teams tenancy (CAMENT, JBS, medschl and some of the colleges) then you may not have access to the files or calendar used in the course. Please contact the instructor in advance to discuss this.
  • It's advisable to make a test call in advance of the session.
