Effective Communication: Verbal Communication
This 3 hour workshop looks how you can improve your verbal communication by understanding and practicing the basic principles that we sub-consciously use every day. Being able to practise the skills of verbal communication can make it easier for you to get your message across, and to better understand others.
By the end of the course you will:
- Know how to actively listen
- Be able to use different styles of questions to learn more from others
- Be able to get your message across more effectively by using verbal dexterity

- Active listening
- Listening for the values and beliefs behind attitude
- Sensory language
- Using rapport
- Basics of rhetoric
