Your Final Chapter PrerequisitesNew
As the end of your time as a PhD student approaches you might be feeling a bit apprehensive about the future. It isn’t just the practicalities of submitting and defending your thesis but questions about the skills you have and how you might use them in the future. Your Final Chapter is a one day workshop designed to both inform you about the requirements at the end of a PhD and inspire you to secure the future that is right for you.
This course replaces RSVP (GSLS) course.
Suitable for final year PhD students in the GSLS, Physical Sciences and Technology schools.
Places will be split evenly between applicants from these Schools
As places on these popular courses are limited failure to attend for the whole day or cancellation within 3 working days will result in a restriction on further training.
Successful applicants will be enrolled on a Moodle course and asked to complete a pre-course assignment at least 1 working day before the course.
This assignment will be to produce a 200 word research summary that will be shared with others in the group.
