Description

This introduction workshop to project management will provide the basic understanding and tools needed to complete a research project successfully. The workshop covers all aspects of project management and includes the full life cycle of a project, methodological aspects of project management as well as the importance of communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Identify typical elements of the project management cycle
  • Apply a process based approach of running projects (project plan)
  • Establish clear goals and milestones
  • Schedule projects so that it is easier to follow them up (use of GANTT charts and CPA)
  • Communicate more efficiently and transparently
  • Recognise typical project management challenges and identify possible solutions.
  • Have opportunities for networking and practice-sharing
