Description

Falcon Further Topics is a series of practical sessions aimed at system administrators to give further information about features and configuration options for the Falcon Content Management Service. Each course centres on one area of managing a Falcon site, come to those that are relevant to you.

Target audience

Current system administrators of the Falcon Content Management Service

Prerequisites

Prospective participants should be either a user or administrator involved in a current or future Falcon site, or have a strong interest in Falcon. Existing knowledge of Falcon to the level of the Falcon Introductory course is recommended.

  • Setting up Users and Groups with Roles and Permissions
  • More on Creating a Research/Person-based Directory
  • Organising and Designing a Site and Getting to Grips with the New Templates
  • Setting up Forms and Creating Content Rules
  • Creating and Using Collections
  • Pulling out Mailing Lists, Managing Images, and Other Topics
  • Open Session
