The induction will begin with short presentations from the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPDA),Personal and Professional Development (PPD), the Careers Service and the Research Office. This won’t be an information overload, trawling through details of contracts, policies, benefits, and the like: instead, we will focus directly on advice from other researchers, identifying key themes from what your colleagues and peers say is important for you to know. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore an exhibition of the full range of support and career development opportunities that are available to you during your time here. This will include: the PdOC Society, Cambridge Enterprise, Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning and more |
