Description

This course provides an overview of the Grants module in CUFS. The course will cover how you can view your projects and awards, check budgets, perform on-line queries and run some CUFS reports.

The course material will be split over 2 webinars on consecutive days

– Please complete at least three working days before the course starts.

Objectives
  • Understand the Grants language
  • Grants module interaction with other CUFS modules (understanding what information is posted and when it pulls through to Grants)
  • View set up of individual awards and projects including: review of budgets, budgetary controls, key member, sponsor detail
  • Perform on-line queries of financial position of awards and projects
  • Run additional Grants reports in CUFS

To learn what information can be found in the Grants module using the various queries and reports and how it interacts with the rest of the finance system
