Moodle: Getting Started Beginners

Moodle as the Virtual Learning Environment will be supporting teaching and learning at the University.
This training session will introduce participants to Moodle and cover the system basics such as the course structure, enrolment to a course, and roles for course members.

- Managing sections and subsections for course content
- Uploading and sharing resources – files, images, videos
- Creating file/folder structures
- Creating resources in Moodle – labels, pages and books
- Making announcements
- Creating polls and feedback questionnaires
- Enrolling course members
- Limiting access to a resource by grouping

- Understand the Moodle environment

- Add and edit the appropriate activities and resources
To gain hands on experience of using Moodle
