Virtual - Budgeting 1: Introduction to budgeting in the University
This session covers the theory and practice of budgeting, how budgets are set in the University, general considerations when setting budgets, how to interpret budget reports and understand the causes of overspends (and underspends) against budgets.
Note: This session does not cover the detailed budgeting and rules relating to individual research grants.
This session is designed for University staff with responsibility for managing budgets and financial targets, and who control and monitor income and expenditure.
