DRC: Libraries - Access for disabled users masterclass PrerequisitesNew
This discussion based workshop will provide an opportunity for an update on the recent exciting additions to support for disabled library users and the work of the DRC. As a response to the unusual circumstances we are all finding ourselves in the majority of the workshop will build on example scenarios to discuss and get feedback on the most accessible and effective strategies for the pandemic and beyond.
The workshop will be delivered by Patrick Dowson (Accessibility Services Manager) and Lindsay Jones (Accessibility Services Coordinator) from the Libraries Accessibility Services team. They are dedicated to providing equal library access for all students across the university, including providing alternate formats for disabled students. They will be joined by Kirsty Wayland, Disability Development Consultant at the DRC. This session will be on line via Microsoft Teams.
