Need to present meetings or teach using Teams? Then join us in this friendly hand on session to learn how to get up and running. You will have the opportunity to practice managing a meeting.
The course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate. If you are not using Outlook or Exchange Online for your email, please contact the instructor to discuss the implications for this course.
You will:
- Understand the various ways of meeting with colleagues
- Create a meeting for yourself or on behalf of others
- Give and take control of participants' desktops
- Practice managing your content when leading a meeting or teaching online
- All current Cambridge University members (departments and colleges)

- Interactive live online training that is instructor-led with video, demonstrations and practical activities
- Installed Microsoft Teams app
- If you can't install the Teams app you can use a Web Browser
- It's advisable to make a test call in advance of the session
- A link to the online meeting will be sent in your booking confirmation email and event reminders
- The course will start promptly at the time shown below but will be open up to 30 minutes beforehand should you wish to check your audio and visual setup. Using a webcam is optional but using one will give you a better learning experience.
- Your computer set up may be different to others on the course and there are small variations when using different operating systems. It is helpful to keep the instructor informed of the system that you are using.
