Excel 365: For Beginners (In Person Face to Face)

Description

This is course will help you get to grips with spreadsheet basics using Microsoft Excel. It will be taught in a small group and no previous knowledge is assumed, however those that use Excel at a basic level will also learn new tricks and tips which will serve them well in saving time day to day and increasing knowledge.

  • This is the In Person Face to Face version of the Live Online course.

Target audience
  • All current Cambridge University members (departments and colleges)
  • Further details regarding eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
  • Basic computer skills i.e. familiarity with using a keyboard and mouse will be assumed.
  • The course is aimed at beginners - no previous knowledge or experience of the software is assumed, however those who wish to improve their skills will learn some tips

Notes
  • The course will be taught using Excel 365 on PCs but will also be suitable for Excel 2016/2019 users. Apple Mac users of Outlook should also find it useful.

What we expect from participants

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to avoid disruptions.
  • Participants are expected to actively engage with the lesson and the trainer and there will be activities to do.
  • PC’s are provided in our training rooms but if you wish to bring and use your own laptop you can do.
  • Feel free to ask questions at any time.
