This course is an introduction to reference management using the free, open-source program, Zotero. Zotero is a free, open-source program which allows you to collect and store references from online sources; add your own annotations and finally use your stored references to insert correct citations into a Word, Libre/Open Office, or LaTeX document. Zotero is essentially a helper; it will enable you to collect references as you review online databases in a web browser and then interact with Word, Libre/Open Office or LaTeX to cite your references as you write your document. |
