This course is for those who have an intermediate knowledge of Spanish and who wish to study more advanced aspects of the language and culture. You just need to be comfortable using the basic language and speaking, not be an expert! Communicative context, with videos, audio, texts and conversation.

This course will give you the basics of communication in a professional environment (telephone calls, writing e-mails and booking transportation tickets etc.) Communicative context, with videos, audio, texts and conversation.

English: Writing Skills (School of Technology) (1 of 6) Finished 11:00 - 13:00 Department of Engineering, CLIC 1

This is a two week course focusing on your OWN DRAFTS for theses, dissertations, first-year projects or research papers. Please note that you will be required to attend 5 WHOLE CLASS two-hour sessions in Week 1 and one WHOLE CLASS two-hour session in week 2 (Thursday afternoon). In addition to this you will be required to attend TWO INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISIONS times to be arranged with the teacher (1 x 30 minutes in Week 1 plus 1 x 1 hour in Week 2).

WEEK 2 TIMETABLE - Individual supervisions will last for one hour per person between the following times (to be organised with Sheila Dodds smd48);

  • Monday 16 July 1400-1800
  • Tuesday 17 July 1400-1800
