Pre-Writing Stage-Planning your Work- Chapter Organisation. This course will look at different ways of organizing reports/theses. You will be given an opportunity to work on your own reports and obtain feedback from peers. You are welcome to bring along your own plans for scrutiny.

Writing Stage- Structural Issues, Paragraph Organisation and Cohesion. We examine techniques for structuring and developing paragraphs and you will have an opportunity to refine your own paragraphs and obtain feedback from peers. We will draw widely on examples taken from research papers.
