Dealing with Disclosure New
Description
This session aims to provide an understanding of the prevalence, myths and stereotypes surrounding sexual violence before discussing how to appropriately respond to disclosures of this and other unwanted behaviours which might also constitute a criminal offence. The session will focus on things such as what to do in the event of being a first point of disclosure, what questions to ask, what to record, how to deal with risk and an outline of the support available.
Session is led by Chris Down and Amy O'Leary from the Office of Student Conduct, Complaints and Appeals.
