Want to extend your knowledge of Teams? Then join us to learn how to use applications to record notes, create a Wiki, manage a small project and create online forms or surveys. This is Part 3 of 4 courses that provide you the opportunity to get a hands on and in-depth insight into Teams.
Please note that the course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate.
You will:
- Gain an insight into what is possible through tabs
- Practice using applications that you need to work with i.e. OneNote, Wiki, Planner, Forms.
Please Note: It is important that when you book on this course, on your booking confirmation page, click on Add to Calendar to start the process to import the course appointment into your calendar. This contains the link to the MS Teams course meeting under Joining Instructions that you will use to join on the day of the course.

- Tabs and Apps
- Customise Channel Tabs
- Use the OneNote App
- Use an App to Connect Planner and Teams
- Use the Wiki tab for Shared Information
- Create a Survey with Microsoft Forms
- Interactive live online training that is instructor-led with video, demonstrations and practical activities
- Installed Microsoft Teams app
- If you can't install the Teams app you can use a Web Browser
- It's advisable to make a test call in advance of the session
- A link to the online meeting will be sent in your booking confirmation email and event reminders
- The course will start promptly at the time shown below but will be open up to 30 minutes beforehand should you wish to check your audio and visual setup. Using a webcam is optional but using one will give you a better learning experience.
- Your computer set up may be different to others on the course and there are small variations when using different operating systems. It is helpful to keep the instructor informed of the system that you are using.
