Description

This one to two hour instructor-led course is for people who want to keep up to date with newer or the lesser-known features of Microsoft Excel. It is a quick fire succession of topics at a fast pace and aimed at those who are comfortable using computers.

Target audience

Any member of the University, staff or students.

Prerequisites

This course is not for beginners, it is best to have familiarity with Excel before attending this course.

Format

Instructor-led workshop.

System requirements
  • Microsoft 365 installed.
  • The Microsoft Teams app or a Web Browser to join the meeting.
  • It's advisable to make a test call in advance of the session.
  • A link to the online meeting will be sent in your booking confirmation email and event reminders.
  • The course will start promptly at the time shown below but will be open up to 30 minutes beforehand should you wish to check your audio and visual setup. Using a webcam is optional but using one will give you a better learning experience.
  • Your computer set up may be different to others on the course and there are small variations when using different operating systems. It is helpful to keep the instructor informed of the system that you are using.
Notes

This course is taught on Windows desktop using Excel 365, if you have a different operating system or version of Excel, then there will some differences, but you are welcome to attend bearing that in mind.
