Introductory course to German. This course is for those with no previous knowledge of German. Communicative context, with videos, audio, texts and conversation.

- Present tense and past of 'haben' and 'sein', separable verbs
- Cardinal and ordinal numbers, some prepositions
- Modal verbs
- Meet and greet people, introduce yourself (name, age, job, nationality, domicile)
- Describe a room and its equipment
- Talk about languages and countries
- Describe a house/flat
- Tell the time, make and cancel appointments
- Talk about professions
- Talk about food (shopping for food, likes and dislikes)
Who for: absolute beginners, learners with very basic command of German.
Overview: An in-person course covering basic communication topics such as introducing yourself, small talk, talking about study and professions, hobbies, food and daily routine.
To be introduced to the German language with a focus on listening and speaking.
Class work and individual study.
Nine sessions of two hours each taught over a period of two and half weeks.
