Description

Getting published is a central part of being a researcher. Peer-reviewed publications allow researchers to communicate their research to the broader research community, and thus, contribute to the body of work within their field.

This workshop is part 2 of 3, and concerns the process of peer-review manuscript preparation and the submital process, including peer-review.

PhD Students in Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences

Prerequisites

It is preferable but not essential that you attend ‘Getting Published I’ before attending this course.

Objectives
  • Gain a better understanding of the technical aspects of the publication process
  • Gain an understanding of the peer review system
  • Become aware of and discuss alternatives to anonymous peer review
